The Bad Batch4 Figure 4-Pack
We here at SWTVC are thrilled and honored to be participating in Hasbro’s Star Wars Fan Celebration with the reveal of this absolutely incredible The Vintage Collection Star Wars: The Bad Batch Figure 4-Pack!
CLONE CAPTAIN BALLAST
Clone Captain Ballast has yet to appear on The Bad Batch, so this is our first look at this new character! He sports a fresh haircut and a unique teal color scheme on his armor. The figure includes a DC-15A blaster carbine and a removable helmet along with a newly sculpted portrait and pauldron.
Emily Cantelupe, Senior Product Designer, Hasbro Star Wars, says, “Fans will notice that The Vintage Collection Star Wars: The Bad Batch Figure 4-pack brings some brand new sculpted portrait heads to The Vintage Collection. Each comes with unique details like Captain Ballast's unique hair sculpt with the shaved sides. We hope that these new portraits will bring some variety to collector’s shelves!”
The Elite Squad Troopers are the first recruits to join the newly formed Imperial army, serving under Crosshair to wipe out Saw Gerrera’s camp on Onderon. This character has appeared in The Black Series, so we applaud the efforts to #BalanceTheScalesHasbro! The figure includes a DC-17 blaster pistol and DC-15A blaster rifle.
Emily Cantelupe, Senior Product Designer, Hasbro Star Wars, says, “The Elite Squad Trooper is a very interesting new type of trooper with a new dark color palette that gives the trooper a cool and intimidating look!”
Clone Captain Grey serves alongside Depa Billaba and Caleb Dume through the execution of Order 66. He originally appeared with a red color scheme in the Kanan: The Last Padawan comic, and now his green armor makes it into The Vintage Collection! The figure includes a DC-15A blaster carbine and a removable helmet along with a newly sculpted portrait and pauldron.
Emily Cantelupe, Senior Product Designer, Hasbro Star Wars, says, “As soon as we saw the designs for Clone Captains Ballast and Grey, we knew they'd make great additions to our troops. They each have new armor marking patterns, and interesting pauldron shapes that really make them stand out. “
Clone Captain Rex showed up on The Bad Batch just this past week, and now we are very excited to already see him joining The Vintage Collection as he appeared on Ord Mantell and Bracca! This figure includes a removable helmet, rangefinder and binoculars, a pair of DC-17 blaster pistols, and holsters, along with a new soft goods kama skirt and printed cloak.
Emily Cantelupe, Senior Product Designer, Hasbro Star Wars, says, “Saving the best for last, let's talk about the iconic Captain Rex! We have been listening to the fans' feedback on our last Captain Rex re-release and agree that this character deserves new updates! And so, with his new design coming up in Star Wars: The Bad Batch, we took the opportunity to update this figure. This new The Vintage Collection Captain Rex figure offers a number of improvements. To start, the figure utilizes a more articulated clone body which has ball jointed hips instead of flat plane. We have also added a new soft goods kama skirt, a detailed printed soft goods cloak and hood, and a newly tooled belt with working holsters for his dual blaster pistols. In addition to the soft goods, we know collectors will be excited about his newly sculpted pauldron collar, and that he comes with a brand-new removable helmet with functioning swivel binoculars! We enjoyed re-creating this new Star Wars: The Bad Batch look for Captain Rex.”
